Buradan başlayalım
Buraya bir köşe açtım.
İşlerimi, projelerimi gösterdiğim bir yer hep vardı; ama daha bana ait, işin dışında kalan bir köşe eksikti. Sonunda oldu.
Gün boyu çizimle, sahayla, malzemeyle uğraşıyorum. Ama kafamın bir yanı hep başka şeylerle meşgul: gittiğim bir mekânın ışığı, izlediğim bir film, yolda aklıma takılan bir detay.
Güzel ya da tuhaf bir şey beni durdurduğunda, öylece geçip gitmesine razı olamıyorum. Bir yere not etmek, birine göstermek, “ben bunu gördüm” demek geliyor içimden. Burayı biraz da o yüzden kurdum — gördüğünü paylaşma isteği galiba hepimizde var.
Bazen bir mekândan, bazen bir filmden, bazen aklıma takılan bir fikirden yazacağım. Bazen de sadece o günkü halimden.
Hoş geldin. Buralarda bir şey bırakmışsam, ne mutlu.
I’ve made myself a little corner here.
I always had a place to show my work, my projects — but a more personal corner was missing, the one that sits outside the job. Now it’s here.
My days are full of drawings, site visits, materials. But part of my mind is always somewhere else: the light in a place I passed through, a film I watched, a small detail that caught me on the way.
When something stops me — something lovely, or strange — I can’t quite let it pass by. I want to note it down, show it to someone, say “I saw this.” That’s part of why I made this place. The urge to share what we see is in all of us, I suppose.
Sometimes I’ll write about a place, sometimes a film, sometimes an idea that stayed with me. Sometimes just how I felt that day.
